The Heck-Pool House is one of three distinct landmarks built in a variation of the Second Empire style by Colonel Jonathan M. Heck, a developer in the Oakwood neighborhood. Located on adjacent lots in the Oakwood Historic District, the Heck-Lee, Heck-Pool, and Heck-Wynne houses are differentiated by alterations made to them over time. They are also listed individually in the National Register of Historic Places. Private residence.
